not broken, just wan't fit due to single mass flywheel.
the engine was fitted to a Audi 90q,i suspect he used the single mass flywheel instead of the dual mass.
[SIGPIC][SIGPIC]/SIGPIC]92 3B pearl white=gone back home to Germany, probably in bits and pieces
car was broken because engine was out for upgrade rods ect when another rs2 with with all necessary mods already done turned up I didn't fancy waiting six or so weeks for pistons rods ect to arrive so I bought new rs and David has the opportunity to return this very fine rs2 to its former state.
did'nt get much done today, still waiting for a couple of stuff before engine goes in.
my plan is to fit 3" all the way from turbo to silencer.
i will be replacing the Rs2 catylist with 3" sport cat.
i've not have time really to update this thread, busy chasing parts
it's been hard getting stuff for this project.
the mechanic working on the car don't seem to have a clue how rs2 engine work,so i sometimes help out.i'm not surprised really because there's not many of these cars left especially in right hand drive.and saving this one from the scrap hip has been my goal, and boy the last 4 month's as been hard going.also left a massive hole in my pocket
i was going to fit wagner reverse inlet and bigger ic,but all that went out the window.so decided to keep it standard for now,and sell off the wagner +ic to fund the project.
we manage to fit 3" exhaust all the way to the original silencer with 3"cat.
i put the car through m.o.t last week and it fail,handbreak cables,front brake pipe,all 4 tyres,rear disc,
had to buy complete set of rear disc's,new pads, new handbrake cables
here are some new pics
