S2 suspension on to B2 90 quattro

chaps I'm just wanting to ask the question will the front&rear full struts inc hubs from a S2 fit on the 90 quattro as I want to uprate and also fit 996 (using adapter plates) calipers to the 90, ideally I want to fit avus 6 spokes hence going the 5 stud 5x112 stud pattern, or will I have to fit uprated shockers say koni / Bilstein and H&R springs onto the original hubs and have adapter plates made to allow using the 996 calipers? and retain the 4x100 pattern. hopefully this modification will be done to poor boys old 90 fitted with the 3B that Tonks converted when i get home.

if you use s2 suspension you will not be able to use your current CV joints, axles and it will be difficult to fit them from other cars especially the front. if you are on a budget, personally i would go for A200 hubs all around, that will allow you to keep your CV joints and axles.

Okp on here has full s2 running gear on his, you need to do the following:

front/rear subframes
gearbox
diff
prop
driveshafts
hubs
uprights
arb's
linkage
and whatever brake setup your after.

I have full S2 suspension on coupe quattro keeping stock transmission and diff.
to fit my rear axles i had to skim them to the size of inner diameter of s2 cv joint. s2 front right axle (short) fits on the front left side. but for the right front side i used axle from audi with 2.6l auto. You can try VW transporter 2.5tdi axle, i will try to fit those this summer, because those from 2.6l car are a bit short.

I've yet to seet the car, bought it whilst still offshore so TBH not sure what is fitted. When I get home I will have a butchers and work it from there and keep you posted I just wanted to know what choices or headaces are availible
