S2 Avant shell build.

I bought a nearly bare shell a from Jon441 of here,due to job cutbacks and the arrival of my two little devils,its been on hold ,for past few years.
BUT, i been collecting parts and fact that job situation getting worse i have get it looking like a car ,to have possible parking of car,in public view...........as i going to loose my lock up.

She needs a new complete wiring loom,suspension sorting,brakes sorting, interior and body work....generally a complete car lol...but its close to my Audi 90 quattro colouring........i a happy boy any way

Here she is now,fitted a coupe front bumperand headlamps.(incorrect number plate)
REMOVED orignal carpet(grey) and seats and door cards and trims
started on wiring today
got electric windows wired/ dash board loom in...............started the central lockin wiring

Will update as i go along

Looking good john, I was doing this for madwolf with dests old avant, tbh if he'd have put more effort in it would have been on the road by now, its not that hard. Took us a day to get it rolling and me an hour to put the wiring loom back in it properly.

Im getting a bit confused here lol would you be able to let me know the correct registrations for any S2 Avants to see if they are on the register?
Im assuming both Avants pictured on this thread are both S2's?

Only one is iirc dest, the black one at the bottom with both style avus

The red Avant was my old 1.9 tdi Audi 80 Avant...which died by a drunk driver, my story is on the site, the S2 Avant( will pm you reg when i find the V5)is the stripped one on the trailer from Jon,in Norfork..........she is sittimg on 17 inch at rear Avus ,and 3B alloys in front

The number plate on Avant nw is my old deaseaced v6 one....................
the other Avant is my new Audi 80 TDI Avant........

Is it going to be rebuild as an S2 with correct engine etc?

We certainly hope so.

The shell had most of items removed/cut out...................

I got the leather interior from v6.....................
most looms i bought and repaired/retaped............
most interior items i got

but engine/looms....or gearbox havnt got yet


There is alot of work to do........suspension/brakes all need sorting..as well i want to fit aircon to her.

At moment must get car looking complete,and functioning.................engine / mods can come later......................the driveway i can possibly use ,the car must look like a car.otherwise she must go

My time is short as i got kids on most afternoon/weekends....as wife must work..and car is a distance from my home.......try and dfo most t home nw and fit to car.

I getting older by the sec just thinkin of the problems
