The dark lights with the debadged front for some reason remind me of the current Saabs. Looks a whole lot better already.Comment

Great job done Jason and what a turn around in the cars looks
It looks a different car and and you have done a great job inside to. I highly recommend AAS as i have not long got my s2 done there but you do have to be patient as the waiting list is a good 4 weeks like someone else mentioned. On one of your photos i saw your s2 just in the background that also looks nice as does "sooty"!! good work mate

Course mate, doesn't bother me;
(Prices include delivery where needed)
Car = £900
Wheels with tyres = £485
Steering wheel = £35
Armrest = €36 (approx £31)
Tuning box = £100
Splitter = £23 (buy from Seat dealer NOT ebay)
Springs = €169 (approx £150)
Fitting of above including a service (oil/filters/brake fluid/water flush/pollen filter) =£160 (deal with my specialists, I've got some stuff to do for them)
White side repeaters = £12
HID kit = £120
Headunit = £50
If my math is correct, that makes £2066 so far.
Just purchased a rear aerowiper arm and blade and I'm also having to buy two sets of front arms and blades to get a set that looks and works right.
One set obtained, other set coming.
Also ordered the one touch indicator accessory, so looking at another £100 or so for that lot.
Thanks Jeffer
Cheers, your black S2 doesn't look too shabby eitherGreat job done Jason and what a turn around in the cars looks

Bit of a struggle to get some decent shots underneath.
I'm sure my neighbours think I'm insane. Can't imagine what they say when they see me out there with a camera on the floor trying to take pictures of the bottom of a car

So, here's the best of the few I tried to take.
You drill holes in the tabs you see on the splitter image further back up the post. I used self tappers to fix in place.

Ok, front wipers bug me. They look daft.
I'll never get any that'll sit right down like the aero-wipers do on my S2, the base of the windscreen/scuttle and closeness of the bonnet won't allow it.
So, I'll have to find something that'll look better and have aero blades too.
I saw a set of arms and blades from a 2006 Audi. They looked ok, well one of them did, the other being a "maybe".
Arrived today and one of them is defo a goer. The other doesn't go at all. Sits all wrong.
So I'll have to find another driver side to use.

Had my ael for nearly 3 years now and can't think of anything i would want to replace it with,as a tool it is unbeatable and it is bloody quick too (chipped/decat/k+n).Also the wheel well on the avant is perfectly sized to take an complete i5 lump if you should ever feel the need.Comment

On the look out for less bits for my s2 saloon project. Now supporting myself by shooting for my food. www.airgunforum.co.ukComment

Mine does the same. It's because you've got a slow/busy internet connection and some server or other between you and the host picture server is timing out. Try refreshing the page or go on-line in the middle of the night - it's worth it to see what Jase has done
