Yep. Ray was one of the UrS-car leaders (at least in North America) back in the day. The part I especially liked was his Spearco vertical flow front mounted intercooler. (I have a photo somewhere - ??)

His car is now owned by a quattroworld forum member but there have been ignition issues (or something).

I ended up with an Apikol FMIC because it didn't require any cutting of the heavy aluminum channel that we have on the back of our North American bumpers (the item between No.2 and no. 3 in this diagram):

With my 'lovely' FMIC the bottom of my bumper has had the front cut out. So I've decided to put the attached bumper on, that and get the intercooler painted Black, that should hide it.

And the mesh will not be White !!

Where are you getting that bumper from?

Not a fan of that intercooler not enough core in use to be as efficient as some of the cheap bar and plate ones out there.

Will update my thread later this week with my £60 intercooler setup that pulled the power figs in my signature. Whilst looking completely stock from the front.

@RWD18T. Yeah I couldn't see your intercooler (exactly how I want mine), but you said you'd moved the radiator backwards and some other jiggery pokery. Good result though !!!

This is mine at present And I hate it. So whether I put an aftermarket bumper, or get a custom intercooler, something needs to be done.
Or I put the car back to standard
