You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links

Was a good way to fix the gearbox without the oem mounts...wich are expensive and dificult to find second hand.

Eugen, i made some out of some scraps of steel layin around
and they work fine.
got the 01E lined up where it needs to go, and everything made up. went solid on the mounts. it should stay plenty rigid now.
here is the final product. i *may* throw a small gusset plate under the passenger side. its pretty rigid, but it would not hurt to have it there.... (actually going out to do it now)
anyways. the solid mount. two plates to sandwich the subframe mount location. drilled larger holes for bigger fasteners.
