iv had the car for about 7 years.got it for carrying dogs n fun.after having it for a year aproblem ocured then another n another n so on.garage that done work on it were bunch o cowboys or hadnt a scoobie on audi s2.so now av stripped the car to rebuild car me self.so any pointers would be much appreciated.ave got pictures on my website ,but still in proces of adding more info n pictures on.

after stripping head off all vacum pipes for turbo and inlet manifold were all perished,1 looked like it was cut off on the back of the inlet manifold.1burnt coil pack,water pipe on bottom of turbo to the black was not properly on so seping water ncausing air locks.1 of the cats is completly chocked n the other nothing in it,can anybody please tell me anymore things to look out 4 that i havent found yet -
I found a leaky N75 valve on mine. Given all the hassles with boost leaks I'd say plan for samco's and good strong clamps. Sweet looking project, the interior is a bit rough tho'

all have alook at that,cheers.interior crambed in small shed for the now.just aswel a didnt give me self a time scale,the last mot the emmisions were threw the roof.interior out bcause of leaking sunroof seal.carpets n roof cloth were soakedComment

I'm sure someone will be able to help with the emmissions problems, a lot of garages think you're driving an audi 80 tdi when they see you coming, it's a common problem trying to find someone who knows something about these cars.ShaneComment

Welcome to the forum.Look like a nice car,nice in black. Ilike the wheels,what size are they? 17"? I agree with the new samcos/roose hoses, do the coolant hoses while your at it if you've go it all stripped down it's easier. You can get the vac hoses to match too. Keet an eye on that interior in the shed as it may get a bit of mold in there. Good luck with it all fella.

I run a Forge 007 dump valve, the original one seem to fail. You'll always need the N75 so just replace it with a new one. I got my hoses from Roose motorsport he's a member on here I've got the coolant and boost hoses.
