After a long and painful tuning experience we had with mounting the 01E gearbox, pushing the sh***t out of the car, I've decided to go for 83mm pistons.

Now...

As far as I can see, all MLS gaskets are up to 82,5mm. Could you please tell me if OEM Victor Reinz will be sufficient for my bore? Any experience?

I know.. second link doesn't work, but it's run #2 - don't know how to edit.

Nope, no dyno run yet. But this time we decided to run 1,8 bar all the way to cut off. This way instead of burning rubber, car accelerates... fast

Which gasket did you use in the end?

We used an OEM rs2/3b gasket - same part number.
However, we used 82,5mm pistons - I mixed the 83mm with our other project... But the gasket works, though it says it's only up to 82mm.

niice, did you used the old timing map?

It was modified a bit. We had to deduct lots of fuel at the top, when we installed the swirl pot. And boost is lower, 1,85 bar.
