We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Progress update, Thought I would try get on with some repairs after nearly a year putting things off. Took it to my spanner man, new one, who is the nuts and just round the corner from my work and this is the result so far.
Bumper off and repaired - repainted.
Cam oil seal, crank oil seal, Oil sender switch thingy, new cam belt, again, as last mechanic didn't fix the oil leaks so contaminated new belt DOH!
Turned out power steering pump was knacked and alternator needed recon job too.
Hurray I love my S2, any ways got the lot done including parts & labour £680 think that was very reasonable looking at the amount of work involved.
