I like the set you have more than the black ones...

The BBS aren't going anywhere, they're just a b*gger to keep clean!......I'm looking for an everyday wheel, I'd like a motorsport influence.......was also thinking about MO5's or MO6's......dunno yet maybe more photoshops needed!

We need to clear the backlog of homers in the garage at the moment before we get the car in.

I laid the wiring loom I got out on the floor an I couldn't believe how simple it looked, it's all just multiplugs going into the fuse-box and the relay panel!.......I also down-loaded s2centrals aby wiring guide all 67 pages or whatever, so I'm feeling much much better, it's just a case of following the guide page by page!

I will update this when we start though

Those rims suit the car nicely IMHO.

None at all, but I did when I had some spacers ( 15mm I think...) fitted....

I'm also running 205 40 17 with h&r springs and no rubbing. I even ran 18s on a previous b3 80 quattro with no rubbing (i was younger and stupider lol)

I'd think with the 18's you'd probably have to keep the car quite high though, you don't have any pics of that do you?

Are those Kahns you got on in the 17 x 7?

I'm running 16 x 9's with 195 40 16 (some serious stretch), so if 205 40 17's work on 17 x 7's, then the same tyre on a 17 x 8 (with a slight stretch) shouldn't rub either because the edge of the tyre where it rubs is still in the same place........does that make sense to anyone else?

Nice car! Reminds me of my first 80 B3, it was white with the same black bumpers with fogs.

                    What power are you running?

                    Any advice, problems, tips, etc?

                    Cheers

It's lower than the standard 80 set-up, but can't remember how much by.........just out of interest what size tyres did you run with on the 18's and were there rubbing issues?

It was a good few years ago bit I think they were 215 35 18 don't know what offset they were just that they came of a mk5 escort before I got them, no rubbing though even with a full car, horrible for tram lining though and you could feel every stone on the road.

I think 18's are too big, the cars too high, it looks Sh*t, it tram lines, Sh*t ride quality!

I've done a lot of Photoshopping and not happy with anything, looked through tonnes of pics of B3's and came to the conclusion that the BBS's are the best looking wheel.........I might look into Stainless Outers and Stainless Bolts......not sure

Found a good German Site for Audi 80's while browsing google.de today - http://www.audi-80-scene.de

Yup I'd definately never put 18s on a b3 saloon again. I'd even like to get rid of the 17s for some 16s but my big brakes(to go on) won't fit :-( and they were cheap so 17s it is lol
