the way the torque builds looks like a 5th to me. but overall looks and sounds beautifull!

That is a 5th gear pull (peak power at 225km/h).
Nice and beefy power curve! Should be rather quick on the road.
The low 13.4% quattro drivetrain loss is impressive too (lower than what VAG quotes for FWD).
3rd or 4th gear road logs from Vagcom would be awesome to see for comparison with dyno

i have recently acquired a 0.63AR to try out. I know it is not ideal for our engines but i want to see if things get worse after a ported head, OR if i can get a close to 500hp mark without the 0.82ar but with a ported head, similar as JP managed on his 3076. I miss the low end power and a 300-400rpm difference would be nice(combined with the billet wheel i have now).
i kind of hate the fact that on 6th gear/ 5th gear cruise on the motorway around 2700-3000rpm you just dont have that pull i had on the 3071(0.63AR) and most of the times, you have to drop a gear to overtake. As im finding less and less frequent the rev limiter or past 6500rpm anyway, if the uprated head offers similar power figures with less lag, ill take it! I an always pop the 0.82ar later on to compare!Comment

epic,
Do you have any photos of the exhaust and downpipe, either on or off the car?
How did they make up the downpipe, do they have a jig now? Did you fit new engine mounts first and leave the car with them?
Can you pm me the costs?
Thanks.Comment

How did they make up the downpipe, do they have a jig now? Did you fit new engine mounts first and leave the car with them? 2 part downpipe with a slip joint and a flexi. Don't think there's a jig but you could ask them. Car left with them after new engine mounts fitted and new turbo in place.
Can you pm me the costs? You should ask them directly as it was a cost a part of an engine upgreade at MRCComment
