Crower rods are cheap here in Brazil. You can buy a set of 5 for 800 Us dollars. A set of 5 Ross pistons, 500 Us Dollars (same for J.E)

Hmm... I got some problems fitting oil return line. Had to slice a bit from engine support to fit that nut. Hopefully it won´t break...

            Gt25/40

Finally, a new turbo. A Garrett gt25/40. Also got my hands on nm exhaust cam. Will fit it during weekend. Next week, a new exhaust and turbo pipes. Hoping to get myself nice x-mas present: a running engine.

No more worries about maf´s reliability.

Do you have to rewire it to fit it - or is it a straight swap?

                      What diameter is it?

Plug is same as original has, but it requires three resistors on wiring so that ecu won´t get too high voltage. Outer diameter is 96mm and inside 89mm. MTM used this maf on their 380hp RS2 kit.

                          Hi PekkaS,

Can you explain where and how much restance is needed? Is there somewhere more info to find?

                          Thanks

Oh, id be very interested in that info too. My MAF is going wrong i reckon. Not worth changing it for another stock one.

Jeffer & Tom, the person who´ll remap my car said that it´s not necessary to re-scale maf before mapping. Instructions for scaling are for mtm-software. Parts needed: Resistor 100Kohm, resistor 1,1Kohm, resistor 1,2Kohm, resistor 1,3Kohm and accurate potentiometer. I´ll get wiring diagram in a few days.

Maybe Mihnea can tell how important re-scaling is or is not.

                                Hi Pekkas,

Thanks for sharing this with us
So you get a custom remap with these resistors? Or you get ready made MTM software and have to do these resisitors?
                                Looking forward to the schematics.

                                Cheers
