100-120 in 0.4s is insanely quick, that is half the time of a Porsche GT2 RS (620ps and 1370kg), Carerra GT (612ps) and RUF RT12 (650ps).
80-120 in 1.00s is also outlandish and would indicate well over 1000hp if in a typical street driven car (1500-1650kg). For example, the 997.2 Turbo S (530ps and 1570kg) goes 80-120 in 1.9s
However, 100-160 in 3.53 and 100-200 in 6.91s is more typical of normal weight road cars with around 550-650hp (Ferrari 458, Lambo 570-4, 997 Turbo S, ZR-1, Ferrari 599 GTO, etc)
What is race ready weight with driver, current power/torque, gear ratios and what is the rev limiter currently at?
hi,
race ready with driver weight is 1320-1350kg, should be dry weight 1150..
regading power/torque I wasn't on dyno lately, but acording datalogging it should be ~500whp, rev limiter 7600rpm
I have Tilton oil pump and Mocal cooler already waiting.. wanted to fit it next week...
but now also looking for V8 torsen or maybe will put quaife
here is what we found in diff
gnarly! you definately killed that one
will you use a thermo swtich to activate the pump or hook it up to a dash switch?
Any idea what the rough oil temp needs to be kept to in the torsen?

I don't know what temp should be there.. maybe not more 130C?
I will hook it up to ECU and will turn it on when rpm ir more then 1500rpm and engine temp is over 80C
I will add diff oil temp sensor, but it will be wired to datalogging and at the moment there is no CAN communication from datalogger to ECU, only from ECU to datalogger..
maybe in winter will swap to motec adl3 and pdm, then pump will turn when will see diff oil temp over ~90C
Aha i came across a similar accident this weekend:
I can't find the root cause of failure. I did see that all of the sattelite gears for the right side had been shattered in to pieces just like in your picture, and de ones on the left had been discoloured due to heath/friction. Housing completely ruined as well.
Currently finding out if a LSD double sectioned diff from a Mitsu Evo would work...
About fitting a cooler: I would use an inline filter before pump, make thermostat in oil cooler and a pressure valve to dump pumped oil when thermostat is closed. Oil operating temperature for transmission oils such as 80W90 should be lower.
