A quick update.
Dyned at 140KW, thanks to bigger dia exhaust, Octane booster and advancing the timing.
S2 front struts and shocks, and shortened Audi 500 SEL(V6) rear springs used in front. Car still sits high but understeer is all but gone.
Still no ARB in back and rear end still very stable and very difficult to get oversteer. However, thats all relative to speed and G loading. Getting there.
Did my fastest lap times last Sat. and in June had huge fun in the rain. Started 11th on the grid and 10 seconds after lights went out was past 10 cars and in 1st position, for the rest on the race. Quattro rules.
Here is a link to a video of the start. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9R_F2i_wpk Only feature in the start of the video.
Would love to get some hot cams for the 7A and push the KW to +- 180 Kw (240 bhp)Comment

I am currently out running a 2.5 with 5 throttle bodies in a lighter car.
Next job in to make the car more of a race car and not use it a a road / race car. 40mm drop in front and stiffen up and drop rear, with a very stiff ARB in the rear.
Currently the rear is too soft and dropping in fast corners, causing the front inside wheel to lift. Here is an example :-

Can not help much as it not my car, but that of another competitor. All I can say is what I have seen and heard. Its a 10v, reportedly 2.5, and with 5 ITB's.
I think the 7A is a better balanced motor with a better crank, than the stroked 2.5 crank.
The 7A with a decent set of performance cams, 5 into 1 exhaust manifold etc will be good for 210HP.
When the 7A cries enough , I have a new 5 pot turbo(ABY) ready to go in.Comment
