Aaron workin on license passes again.

first off, i really do not know why i post here about my stuff anymore with the amount of fecal matter i catch from some of this forums members about tuning and such. so, any way you want to see my dyno chart, i will show it to you. STD, SAE, uncorrected, DIN, EEC, JIS, whatever you want, ask and i will make it so. but i dont care to argue with you your methods versus mine. i have a license to earn and i am not out to be the number king. so if you do offer suggestions, make it in a positive way, not the usual snide way of trying to talk down to me about something that is half the planet away from you.

i WILL turn it up, when i feel good and ready.

went to the track to work on my passes again, as the last ones i took too long to do by 4 days.

    new physical, the works.

quick dyno plot. of course we dont really push it too hard on the dyno anymore. i have made more power and more torque at different sessions, but it doesnt matter to me. i do make more power across the board now with 10kpa less boost than i did with my last motor. that is progress. and making passes and getting licensed is my goal for now. the changes were to ditch the ID1600's (recalled) and the 1.00 A/R hotside. now running ID 2000's and 1.10 A/R housing.

603 AWHP, 438 tq, 32.6 psi boost / 325 kpa. it dips a bit rich in one area, but that is why we go to the track and work things out in the real world.

here is a baseline pull with just WG pressure (240kpa) to 7200 rpm?

here is the difference 276 kpa to 325 kpa makes.

and here is where i left it, with plenty more to go too.

    pass # 1

    14.15 @ 70 w/ 1.95 60'. running two gears and lifting. street tires with a burnout!

    pass # 2

13.22 @ 72 w/ 1.64 60'. two gears and lifting. slicks with 15 psi air in them AND a burnout (first all slicks burnout for me)

    pass # 3

11.30 @ 95 w/1.58 60'. run into 3rd gear and lift half track and coast.

pass # 4. time to turn it up.

10.16 @ 138, with a new personal best 60' time of 1.49!!! run a full pass! also note this pass, hand on steering wheel. it is so mellow and easy to drive!!

pass # 5. still turnin it up, when disaster struck. grenaded the rear diff on the launch. still made a 1.95 60' but it broke bad and hard. it stopped me dead in my tracks!

don't stop posting dude just because of the usual small minded know-it-alls!
The car sounds ferocious and goes like a stabbed rat!

Are you still running OE driveshafts or something more exotic?

Well put, sheep follow, leaders lead. Lot of jealous nonsense on this forum sometimes, If people don't like the way you do things who cares, apart from them. Keep up the great work on your car it's looking ace.
