    S2 ECU reprogramme????

Ok so im currently in the process for building a MK2 Golf 16v turbo.

    I am using S2 Pitons & Rods, S2 K24 Turbo, S2 Inlet Manifold, S2 Exshuast Manifold, S2 Wastegate & posiibly an S2 thorttle body.

What i was wondering is how easy would it be to rewrite the S2 ECU to disable or delete the 5th injetor and other sensors that i would not be using.

It would be alot easier than after market or im going the wrong way about doing this.

Apologies if this in the the wrong thread in the forum.

    any help would be appriecated.

    Thanks

    Vas

Impossible. Get a 4 cylinder ECU. Or aftermarket ECU that can work with any amount of cylinders.
The ECU hardware is specifically made for a 5 cylinder. The code is written for a 5 cylinder.

Some people use Golf or Corrado G60 wiring with its Digifant 1 ECU. Chipset needs to be changed and also the turbo needs to be controlled mechanically (stock wastegate with a harder spring, for example), but it would work for you. A guy I know run a Toledo this way, although his engine was a 8 valve turbo (G60 block with stock pistons and rods and a crossflow head from a Golf MK4 2,0 8 valve engine) and the turbo was a Garrett.
          Cheers.

I thought using digifart from an 8v was the ghetto budget way to do that?

            Or megasquirt/vems/whatever standalone etc
