Some Progress

It has been a while since I have added anything to this thread.

several things have been added the most noticeable a 16 row oil cooler. All induction pipework and exhaust is complete

The engine is now in the car and running eventually i had some trigger issues to start with. crank home pin on flywheel pushed too far in . I have had the engine up to temp all seems ok so far.

Currently running on AAN base map have only adjusted fuelling at idle.

Just to confirm i have used 2.2ms for the base fuel multiplier. This is based on (6.49*(2226/5/1000))*0.75

currently the car wont restart when warm > 60 deg coolant temp for example. i assume i need to add more fuel in the cranking enrichment settings to start with. Also the EGT read out is always 1200deg, it flickers at about 450 for a few seconds when ignition is turned on then goes to 1200.

Things to do in the next few weeks confirm timing set in vems is actually the timing of the engine check there are no leaks in the intake, then i will begin to populate the VE table. any tips on Tuning vems Specifically would be useful. i have read several books over the last few months on tuning in general nothing vems specific. have also been reading info on the vems forum. also need to make some headphones for knock detection when i come to advancing the ignition.
