Succesful S2 day.

The job I had on at work today went horribly wrong ( not my doing) and as a result I had a go at the list of things on the S2.
Today I have managed to fit the rear KW Coilies and new top mounts to the car.
I removed the front bumper and wing mirrors and prepped them for a fresh coat of panther black.
Removed and recovered my sagging roof lining and finally fitted a new base seat squab foam to my drivers seat to replace the worn one from years of owners sliding their **** in.
Hopefully i will get a free day soon to re fit the roof lining and trim should smarten things up no end.
I'm itching to set the coilies up and give her a whirl. Really missing the 5 pot sound track....

I was meaning to ask, do you know anyone local who can do decent paint jobs? I need a fair bit done!

Hi Will. I had text you last Sunday about mk2 golf meet. I use a guy at worcester opposite my unit for my paint. I.m off on 28th so can always meet up if nothing comes up with family etc. Drop me a text if you want. Doubt s2 Will be finished though

Roof lining went back in today. I'm really pleased with it. There are a few dents from where it has been pushed in over the years but it can't be helped. My only after thoughts are that I wish I done it in black fabric. That said it my have been a littile dark with a full black leather interior.
I'd like to say never again byt my brothers 16 valve needs addressing too. Just hope mine is done once and for all..... All in need now is my wheel spacers and I can take the damn thing off axle stands.
