Neither of the things you listed can possibly cause the problem, if it does not make any boost with wastegate lower chamber disconnected.

      New pictures
pasbogdan doesn't have such a steady hand for making pictures, all his pictures are blurry

And also some pictures with the car. I only have these. After engine is done I'm planning a photo session.
At this moment the car has lower H&R suspension + 18" OZ Superturismo GT.

I don't know what to answer to your second question please explain better what you mean.
Is the goal to have a good solid power curve across the rev range or looking more for top end power high up the rev range?

The turbo is just what I had in stock at that moment, and that would be OK on a stock engine.
This turbo gives 3800-4000 full boost in 3rd, and also gives full boost in 2nd gear. In 1st I think it reaches about 1.6-1.7 bar.

Also, there is an upgrade path with this turbo to a #8 hotside, and then it can do 480hp on pump gas.
Plus it's reliable, rebuildable and inexpensive. Kinda like the K26/K27, just more modern.

Today i wanted to try to eliminate provisionally the problem with the hose from compressor intake to maf that gets a little deformed and may restrict flow because it is stock one and turbine has a new position.Got a short hose from compressor inlet, got maf in it and after maf a cone filter in place of headlight.Car does not idle anymore,it is running rich with black smoke. So i had to remove it and eliminate filterbox and reposition stock hose so that it does not get any distortion. What is going on with maf if it is to close to compressor? To big"turbulences"?

                      Yes, possible.

whats the going rate for one of these turbos and does it fit a rs2 manifold? will it require rods?

                          I don't stock any...
Fits RS2 manifold with 10 mill spacer. I had them CNC cut.
Oil lines need mods, water lines need to be blanked off.

Depends who maps the car basically. If you wanted to get the max out of it, then it's better to do rods, but then it's better to run a #8 hotside on it and aim for 480hp.

Looking forward to see it run.

Run a HX40 with K26-6 housing and it was spooling pretty good for the size of the turbo.
