Some new update for the project.
Also was driven around 300 km on low boost... and will be drive so until 1000 km by pasbogdan. After that we will start using the car on full boost.
He's saying he feels some massive improvement on the engine...

What are you using for logging AFR ?

From what I know, we will bond the AFR with the Motronic and do some logging with the VAG COM software.
PRJ said that he will help me with that.

Or you will end up by trying to get both readings into an excel or as i din once,film afr/boost gauge,say start when click on motronic log startup.After that try to see movie time and motronic log time and get data in excel to see rpm vs iat vs timing vs boost vs afr

Logs will be done from both sources by the same software, so it's easy.

The car runs exactly as planned. Doing boost as planned.
Unfortunately the car hit a pot hole the size of China and bent a front strut and maybe the shock absorber is damaged as well.
andyg plym has some struts and I will get them from him. Since the car will remain in the shop for at least 2 -3 weeks I've decided to take down all the ... I don't know how to call them.... the subframes, all the struts, the arms, everything under the car to get them sand blasted and then coated.
Also a bigger oil cooler is on my list as when I hit the pedal from 100-200 , the oil went from 60 to 110-120 degree so fast! Any sugestions on what oil cooler to get?
Also 2 sport seats are on my list.

OK, so your boosting problem is finally solved?

Yes! The engine was in a too poor condition, couldn't make enough pressure to spin the bigger turbo.

10-11 seconds for 100-200 from the video, so yes, it must be running quite well...
Especially considering the fact that it is just running on a basemap now

Yes that's my thought exactly, I'm so anxious to make some logs and send them to you to update my soft. Also some launch control settings and flat shifting...

I was watching the movie and noticed high rpm do not seem to get the car so fast ahead compared to mid-high rpm.It will be shame not to get his topend a little more boost and a little timing.He is loosing all low/mid fun with that turbo at least the topend to be glorious..
Some logs will be done after suspension rebuild,new n75,new air filter system,new pre-maf hoses.
Please explain Bart what is needed to be done to get all logs in the same doc.
Someone think we should take head of the car and see how the honing has deal with rings?Afr readings during "ring settle" were around 14/15 and i do not think bores were flushed of oil.But i would like to be sure that honing marks are still there keeping vital oil in them.When honing marks are flushed they are on all bore length?Or just the topend.I am thinking about inspecting bores with a small tubular camera,but that will not show upper part of bore.Only with a small mirror on it.

With a #6 hotside it is not a top-end turbo...
WIth a #8 hotside it would be, but then the cams should be done as well.
