rs2 coupe project

hi every 1,

recently purchased a s2 coupe which is being stripped down to bare shell then will rebuilding it back from scratch to full rs2 spec. here are some pics of the old car i had which was involved in an accident, but am taking of all that is left.

The finished car will look very similar to this.

thanks to VAG PARTS have managed to order alot of the bits i needed still waiting on a few parts from them but hopefully they will arrive soon.

UKRS2, when do you expect the project to be ready?

Oh, and what year S2 did you get?

Fingers crossed, sometime next year I'm thinking about converting a coupe cabriolet to an S2 - and if I'm lucky I'll consider converting it to an RS2. But all that is a long way off.

The one i have got now is 1993 K-REG yes the bit at the back is from an rs2.

the project is allready on the way, hope fully the car will be ready to paint within two weeks, have to strip myone ASAP changing everything carpet, dash, interior all the running gear, engine, gearbox,exhaust, bumpers the lot.

lets see how things go.

Is this project still alive? Would really like to know what was done to fit the rs2 rear bumper to the coupe.

The car in these pictures was damaged but everything was put onto a new shell so yes the project is still alive and yes the car does look sweet
