haha.... about those. do notice, i have a few of them. my son is 6 years old now. and he sleeps in PJ's. (pajamas) and sometimes when we shop for him, he picks out some for me too. plus lately it has been cold...

but yes, i am trying to not do a lot and recover from surgery. and relaxing is a big part of it. i have probably 6pr of funky pants like that he picked out for me, and i am far from "that guy" who is going to disappoint his son. we like skulls, and flames.... dont even ask about the boxers haha. SpongeBob, Scooby Do, cartoon characters, Angry Birds, whatever. my son is a big part of life for me, so there are concessions been made of course. i dont care how people see them, they are just clothes to me. i am not a fashion guy i guess. here, is a different set, when i FIRST tested out the dogbox.

oh yes, and reverse is possible as well. and i am sure it could probably work on a stock trans, but i think that would be backwards, upgrade the internals first. mine has straight cut dog-engagement gearing from

and, this is the shifter in action, yes it shifts very well at high rpms, i will be shifting around 9k of as close to that as i can.

Yes yes Vampir runs very nice and shifting works well, but gearbox type is not the same.

Keith Edwards has the same gearbox internals and shifter in his hillclimp car. it revs to 9500rpm and shifts fine. i talk to him regular and all is good. I am fitting exactly the same to my 80 this year.

I have a silly question, the clutch is handled by that device as well or you will have to push the clutch?

when racing, i use the clutch to launch. then no more clutch.

when i shift at low rpm, down shift, and reverse i use the clutch.

                      i have a straight cut dog-box.....

Do you know if Prospeed are using the Par dogbox in there S1? From the inboard footage there is no clutch used on the up or downshifts when racing.

Shift cut functionality will help upon reducing wear on dog rings.
Prospeed have a load cell wired from the shifter IIRC from watching onboard footage.

trying out the shifter now to see the display working, and to get the shift cut trigger squared away.

its so easy a child can do it.

and the tower was made for me by my friends, and was custom fit for my needs and what would work for me.

they COULD make one if you gave a semi detailed drawing. but we are in USA, so that might defeat it some.
