still puttin in work, always doing something. even if it isnt on the list or needed.
i have whittled down the "TO DO" list multiple times only to keep adding to it as i go.
but today, i did something unnecessary to the performance of the project. i had some time, was bored, and i am the guy who changes things because he can.
and so, the roof is black now, black with platinum pearl. kinda made the whole upper end dark like the CF hood was. i left the wing the color of the car. the new rear hatch vinyl will be black. i think it looks great so far and will look much better when completed.
and someone wanted to help me mask out the car this morning, so of course who am i to refuse my #1 guy?
and right after we put on the first heavy coat of clear, i decided some pearl was in order. so we had to go back to his house to get the pearl. he had quite a few colors, and at first i thought red. but i dabbed and smeared some on my MK4 Jetta inner trunk lid (its black) and it turned like pink. so, i settled on Platinum.
and since he had already painted the hatch, well he had to paint the black again for the pearl.
ahhh yes. it does look pretty good.
it dont look bad at all!!!! especially for garage done and racecar only
i want to wait for a few days before i put the hatch back on, but it looks good. and the main thing? IT LOOKS DIFFERENT!
