    S2 Avant... back to original

So... I spent 1/2 hour writing up this nice page and then lot the bloody thing.. so no write up, just pictures and issues.

    Original internet ad pictures

    Finally in my driveway!

So.. can anyone tell me what is wrong with this picture???

Looks much better with the original Avus wheels.

So... here is a list of what needs to be done ASAP

    - Replace windshield
    - Hook up Check Engine Light and pull codes and see why full boost is not attainable.
    - Needs front snub mount and aux rad support... PO used tie wraps to hold the rad in..
    - Rear brakes, check out pic above.. I shook my head!
    - Stock airbox back in
    - Tuneup
    - Change headlights, RHD versions used, if someone does not care, they will be for sale.
    - Complete the fixup of the front bumper to get the grills back on.

Nice to do later on, bumper, hood and front clip repaint.
Big Red brake upgrade, suggestions welcome.

Yep, insane!! BTW that is a B2/B3 caliper.. so no e-brake either.

There are other signs of butchery.. just sad to see an S2 treated that way.
I'll do my best to bring her back to former glory!

Isn't the headlight possible to change from RHD to LHD by pushing a lever in the light?

Not sure, I have not seen or hear of any lever, ETKA lists different part numbers.
I have a brand new set of LHD so I am changing anyway.

            Cheers

It is the portion that bolts to the crossmember that is missing, but I have one... what I do not have is the bracket to hold the aux radiator up...

You need 996 calipers (996.351.425/6) 323 a8 front discs and rs2 brackets and 17'' wheel
or 16'' wheel and 10-15 spacer.

304 disc only comes with porsche bolt patern, you can use 314mm a8 disc with Bumbridge brackets and then keep standadr 16'' wheel.
