That is normal for an UrS4. The only ones that got the quattro badge on any of the interior trims were the late run 1996/97 UrS6s.

Here is a photo from a page in the May 1997 VW Audi Car article about the 1997 UrS6, "The Last of the Turbo Fives". You can just see the quattro badge on the RHD passenger dash CF trim. I presume that an 1997 S6plus or the like would have similar LHD passenger side CF trim. (The late run UrS6s in the UK came with the S6plus black chrome trim and alcantara-trimmed interiors).

      Ah I see.

Are rods a necessary upgrade when going to a K26/K27 hybrid?

I cannot drive my car any further until I get my new suspension from 2B.

I am really tossing up on what turbo to buy. I'm thinking I'd like to make 400whp.. PTE5858 or similar should see me there pretty easily. Heck, Nicks 200 20v with the GT30/K26 hybrid runs low 12's and can smoke all 4 tyres at 1600kg. He is also on a COMPLETELY stock block that has 300,000+ MILES.

This is to give you an idea of how low it really is. It's stupid.

Yup. Very stupid. This is what happens when parents allow children to play with cutting torches and springs.

Strongly recommend that you forget about the 2Bennett coil overs. Expensive and you will probably set them once and then leave them anyway. In my opinion, you will be better off with a matched set of H&R springs, e.g. 29800s for the V8 or the H&R 29828-1's. Here is a photo of a 94 UrS4 in New Zealand on the H&R 29828-1's (photo courtesy of vbmica). Looks perfect to me. Shocks = Bilstein Sports or Koni sports. You already have the 2Bennett front caster/camber plates so you will have no issues bringing the front alignment into spec with the lower H&R springs.

            They haven't been cut D.

I looked very carefully, unless he got them powdercoated after he cut them (which i highly doubt), they look to be factory.

They are just really low springs.

I think the fact he was running 19" wheels had something to do with it, with the 17's back on it sits a lower again.

If they haven't been cut, then they are not springs that were made for a C4.

Wheel size has zero to do with ride height if you have the proper sized tires on them that maintain the same 24.86" tire diameter (e.g. 225/50/16 = 24.86 inch diameter).

Put the HID's in, one of them was faulty. Smoking and almost caught fire..

Brembo's are going on shortly, followed by all my control arms and bushes.

Then will be adding go-fast bits

Was told they are eibach springs.

The guy who I bought the car from is being painful to deal with now.

2Bennett said they have the original invoice, but just stopped replying to my emails a little while ago.

Not sure if you have the one in the correct location. Item 3 is PN 8D0407309A. It says "1" axle but "2" gaskets. However, it also says "12" item 5A bolts so I am thinking 1 gasket per axle. That makes sense because it says "1" axle but also lists left and right so 2 front axles per car = 12 bolts.

You need to turn the joint. And the gasket goes towards gearbox.Did you dismantled the cv joint?Atention needed,it can be mounted in several ways..
