That's what Elijah was asking.Originally posted by Doug_RS2Has anyone got a picture of one sitting in an S2 or RS2? I want to see where the turbo sits and how much room there is in front of it.
Thanks
I test fit mine last night in a 4000 quattro (aka Type 85, or 1985 European 90), same chassis as an ur-quattro, and it fit wonderfully. Without the turbo, it looks like the turbo might hit the frame rail area, however holding a turbo up to it, since most of the turbo is above the flange, it is a great fit.
As soon as I can obtain a digital camera that works, I'll post a pic with the test fitting, on my similar but non-S2/RS2 car. You can check the http://www.rstuning.se website to see pics of it on an RS2 tho'.Kenneth

I don't think any of us have them installed yet. My car is STILL not finished so it will be a bit longer for me. I am very curious to see how the fit is as well, a couple of the guys that bought them for their urs4's said it was to close to the headlight to work. One of the guys test fit it in his 4000 20vt and said it would work fine so I hope the 90 coupe with the AAN will work as well. Here is the web page, they don't have a good picture but the same manifold is in the RS2 shown on the site. http://www.rstuning.se/Originally posted by Doug_RS2Has anyone got a picture of one sitting in an S2 or RS2? Doug,Originally posted by Doug_RS2What lengths are all the runners - it is hard to tell from the pics - but they look different lengths?
The tubing is 42.4mm. I don't know the exact lengths but I don't think they are equal lenghts. The inside of the runners are not smooth but not bad. I had planned to have it extrude honed but after seeing it I don't think I'll need to.

about coating
I´m not giving up on this.
Here´s a photo of sandblasted em without any coating. Looks pretty much the same? I´ve never seen any coating like that. Did some googling around internet and still couldn´t find anything similar.

turbo position
This is my bay with GT2540 and finnish pro-mo em. In my opinion it has maximum space between turbo intake and headlamp. And runners are still pretty equal.Attached FilesComment
