A RS Blue RS2 restoration in NA

The car was used and 20 years old. Nobody said that is had been hermetically sealed in a vault and was in show room condition.

Raphael did a good job of creating something beautiful that was terrible when he got it.

Does not surprise me. If you dont do the seals on a 20year old car you are gonna have a bad time.
If it only has that mileage then it has been idle for long periods, which is also bad for seals.

Yes it's the same, absolutely, because the client told me the name of the seller !

German -> Japan -> Canada -> Switzerland, i think, it's the only one RS2 who made this travel !

Damn, seems the shiny paint job hides some sins. It does seem like the there is alot of work to put it right, its a shame it wasn't done with the 'restoration' .

Oil come out from every parts Engine, Gearbox, power steering, etc...

The car is in switzerland now, the client thought to receive a car in perfect condition, what a surprise !

And these picture are not from the body and also not from the the car's interior...

This car is all broken, except the peint job, that car need so many work...

If you are interested, i can provide new pictures next...

Hope VW-AUTOWERK will never work on another RS2...

Well technically Don the previous one that I sold (the volcano black) was purchase by an american but plated in BC so assuming it spend some time in Canada it makes 6 and there is also another Volcano Black down in Toronto owned by a guy named Mike Hopton so we are down to 7 but unless there is some others that we dont know about I'd say there is less than 10 for sure!

I guess I am missing one. I know of 5: Rob's Volcano, my Volcano, and Dave T's blue, Uli's blue,and of course, Raphael's. Which one am I missing?
And of course, all of these cars are breathtakingly beautiful.

As far as I know there are six RS2s in Canada, including this one.

There is one UrS4 V8 avant.
