I find it really funny that an rs2 could go in price that high..
I mean it's not new and every rs2 in this age has some oil leaks...

This might be the going price in Canada, being exclusive an all, but being located in Switcherland surely the buyer could have bought something very nice in EU.

And surely if spending more then 40.000€ one would fly up and look at the car.
Pretty logical thoughts there. I wondered the same thing. All the fussing just makes no sense. Something is missing here and its quite clear it's the new buyer and his account.

Wow... you make it sound like there are only few people in the world capable of working on these cars. They must be brain surgeons (RS2 is not a Bugatti Veyron By The Way)

Of all the places you say it here, THE S2 FORUM.. place where most people are true enthusiasts and are capable and do their own work anyway. Sounds like you cannot..

S2 Avant is as close to RS2 as you can get (fancy brakes, bumpers, mirrors and seats aside), so anyone who knows an S2 can get around RS2 with ease BTDT.

If I was majority of the forum members I would take a great offence to your statements.

    In fact, Go yourself!!

I wouldn't say you need to be an RS2 specialist to work on an RS2. I have never been trained as a mechanic but I've done a lot of work over the 5 years I've owned mine and I think it runs pretty damn nice.

Raphael's garage is 4000km away from me (Canada is a big country) so I've never visited his shop in person but I have conversed with him over the years and he has ordered RS2 specific parts for me from Europe. I've found him to be very knowledgeable about the RS2 and very professional.

I'd have no hesitation in letting him work on my RS2 if he was closer.

One more response from me and after that i'm done talking to that **** head!

Your insult on the quality paint job would probably bring a smile to my painter who by the way teaches his skills at school and participate to big concours events throughout Canada! He will be very happy to hear from a guy like you that you gave him a 6 out of 10 for his work!

Oh...and you said to me that my RS2 didn't seem to be align but guess what? It was...

And guess what also....my doors seem to be perfectly straight or maybe I should have take that picture a lot closer just in case I shot it a mile away to avoid showing imperfections

Have a good life buddy it's all I have to say at the end!

So, now you need a microscope to see what is on the picture i took ?
Stop trying to defend your buddy, it's done, it's done...

I Saw the client this morning, and he decide to invest money on parts, and for that, i will go to see a real specialist known under the name of "TOTS"

The client saw my RS2, and he saw how this car is important for me, it's reason why he trust me !

Stop talking to me anymore if you are not able to recognize something is wrong with this car by looking all the pictures i uploaded !

One thing is very strange, it's impossible to communicate with the ECU by the VAG-COM and obtain any information from the engine ???

Who is responsible, we don't care, what's matter now, is how to fix everything on this car !

Sure, take any supermodel and take a super closeup of her blemishes.. under microscope even the hottest model will look like a monster.

Now you are just being silly and sound like boasting your own skills.
I feel sorry for the current owner to trust the car with you.

Sorry, but something can't be right here, because canadian people, said, RS2 is rare, famous, etc... But, apparently, they simply dont know what is an RS2 how it's work what's look...

Here, in Switzerland, we have many of them... So it's easy to compare one RS2 with another !

So, when i saw people said "i saw this car, and if i had money, it will be mine", sorry, but i don't believe that !

What can i think about a guy ou bought a car, without knowledge about the past of the car, drove it, without changing the cam belt !?

That is a proof about you dont know an RS2 and how it's important to do that FIRST ! i said FIRST, before do anything else, you change that FIRST !

After you change that correctly and with the knowledge, you MUST change every fluids...

But no... The guy drove the car without that, no problem, more than 5000km... And im pretty sure he try to see how many horse power it have !

So, where is the seriousness here ?

It's easy to paint a car, to hide things is the better way, but it's not working with people who know that kind of car !

the paint job on this car, in my country, receive, maybe a 6-6.5 on 10 ! It's a work from a 3 year apprentice (4 years to be a painter)...

I think, any people who come here, on this forum, know, they exist mechanic and good mechanic...
And when you know what is an RS2 and have some respect for it, you will reach a good mechanic, no ?

So here, it's just a funny guy who work in a garage, but, unfortunately for this RS2, he have not enough respect for car, he just want make people talk about him and his garage, that's all !

So yes, VW-Autowerk have friends, VW-Autowerk is a garage who know how to make people talking about it... But the result is not so shiny

If some people, who are in Switzerland, whant to see this car, they are welcome, i will give the car to the client this morning,
and he will bring it back, next monday, to continue the real restoration !

Sorry for my bad english, hope it was not too difficult to understand me
