hello all, i am new here on S2 but have been on motorgeek for some time now. i ended up here with hope of finding more info needed to complete my transformation, make new friends, and learn even more. with that said here is a quick catch up on my project.
last February i acquired a 91 90q 20v from a friend, had a blast driving it most of the year then decided i needed to make it even more fun, so i tore into it with plans of boost and better handling. took it from this...

and now it sits like this

at least for the most part. as of now the wiring harness has been removed and it sits on coil overs, engine bay is painted, abs/air bag/ cruise/ heated seats have all been removed. i decided i would swap in a 3b for now as my desires for the 7a are a bit extensive and i pulled a running 3b along with the harness and ecm out of my 200.
the plan is to lighten the flywheel and freshen it up a bit.( a few gaskets here and there) then drop it in and enjoy while i prepare the 7a.
that being said, i am at the wiring stage. trying to figure out the 200 harness and get it to mate with the 90. the stuff under the hood is of no concern to me as i can figure it out and remember what most of it is. my issue is on the interior, connecting to the cars harness and fuse/relay panels. i have searched high and low and i seem to find almost everything about this swap except for the stuff i am looking for, i've seen a lot of people use the S2 harness but that isn't an option for me. i have lived in the Bentley books for both cars for some time now and gathered a lot of information also. when it comes down to it i am just not that good at deciphering whats what and where i need to put or cut it. i have fed the 200 harness into the 90 and lain it out as it was it the 200 so i can get an idea of what needs to go where. i deciphered what wires go in which direction i just can not figure out where exactly they need to end up. i hate to be "that new guy" who asks questions in his first post but with this being the issue that is holding me up i really need some help. thanks for looking and thanks in advance for any and all help. i hope to end up a good addition to the group and look forward to new friendships and learning new information.
