Nice One It's a lovely looking car, myself being an Avant fan. I remember seeing it for sale a few months ago in the for sale section on the forum and thought then that someone who was willing to put some effort into it would end up with a really good car. Those wheels look really great on her. It would be nice to see some good pictures of her once she's been polished up.

Cheers bud. Oil cooler Monday then as long as it passes mot Tuesday will get a good clean Wednesday then I get to have a go in it and bring it home. Will gets pics up then.

I am very pleased with this car and have a real soft spot for it, I couldn't be more pleased it's going to jim as I know it will only get better and it's literally a 2 minute walk away from my house... Looks a lot better at that height though jim.

Well im happy to report that the new cooler went on today. Its now leak free and will be going for the mot. Fingers crossef its just cleaning on wednesday then she is off to her new home..

Im happy to report she has an mot. The steering gaitor needs replacing asap but other than that all is well.

Interesting to see the ride height with it sat a bit higher. That looks like a perfect compromise, I'm looking to get KW's on my RS2 and I must admit I've been a bit concerned about having it too low. But if it'll sit like that I'd be happy.

You can set them where you want I guess, I like a subtle drop but the car still needs to be practical eg get over speed bumps drive on a ramp for mot etc.

Well its a sad day, she has left my company. Jim and I have spent the day stripping out the interior and cleaning as much as we could. I'll let jims pictures do the talking...

As above many many hours cleaning it up. Previous owner on here managed to spill a coffee over the centre console and down the carpet both sides. A right mess. Seats out steam cleaner and scrubbing. Outside was good anyway and will get more polish over next few weeks. Exhaust tweaked, and a gentle drive home as it was the first time the wheels have moved since 2012.

Only issue on the way home was a fuel smell when I did give it a little blast !!! Will have to have a look at that.

And when it arrived home. Still in one piece
