    My S2 project

I thought it was time to make a project thread for my S2
It all started two years ago when i bought the car

First thing i did was installing coilovers and bigger breaks.

Last year i replaced the gearbox whit a DSY gearbox and a new clutch, installed a Wagner exhaust manifold since the old one had some big cracks in it. And my brother built a 3 inch turboback exhaust system. sadly all my pics from this is gone

In January i lost my job so i decided to do a respray of the car and my old boss was nice enough to give me all the materials for free and let me do the respray in my old workplace

    Some disassemble

always nice whit som new parts

    almost redy for paint

    base coat

    Three coats of clear

And finally some pics on the car how it looks today

Lovely colour, how do the H&R coilovers compare to the stock setup?

The ride is a bit harsher but i don't think it's to bad, i have done a couple of 800 km trips with them without any problems. performance wise it feels more stable on the road and a bit more predictable.

Hmm.. maby its time for a update on my project....
Since the last post i replaced the coils, now i use the 115r coils and the supplier ****ed up once again, the wiring was all wrong the first coil was on the 5th cylinder, the second coil was on the 4th cylinder... atleast the 3rd coil was in the right place.
Anyways they gave me a nice discount on the loom and cooler i ordered from them
The exhaust kept rubbing on the rear sub frame so that had to go. so i replaced the exhaust system whit a fox tech 70mm cat back system

Thanks man, i like the design of the wheels but the color doesn’t fit the car so i will probably respray them when i got the time, and in case you wonder they are ace icon 18”

New body colour looks great, is it an OE Audi colour?

What are your plans for the car in the future?

Thanks, its a custom mix but it’s based on Audis estorli blue, my mix is lighter and has more purple in it ´so it goes from the blue you see in the pictures to a dark purple.

The next thing on the to do list is new bushings and a alignment, after that i can start adding more power

                      Time for a small update
All the bushings in the rear has been replaced, now i have powerflex in the wishbones 034 mounts to the diff and aluminium bushes in the sub frame, and alignment have been done.
Today i finally mounted the front spoiler whit some help from a friend and I’m really happy whit the result, tomorrow I’m going to fit the blinker and fog light holder/air vents

I have also painted my brothers car for all the help I’ve got whit my car
