A few pics of my mates shorty. It came about after the demise of his 500hp urquattro. Hopefully he will be hillclimbing it soon. Its one of the best replicas ive seen and all done by himself. Its a stroker engine running motec. If his ur quattro was anything to go by it should be a animal.

Thank you all for your comments guys I appreciate them very much and glad you approve of it. Ive been building this short guy for 3 yrs now (feels like a life time) and as Ammer mentioned its near ready for a shake down. I would of started a thread myself but im rubbish hence quattroam putting these on, cheers pal.
I will try to answer some questions so start with speedingG60
I will try to post some pics of suspension but basicly its coil overs, replica sport quattro wishbones, the tie rod body brackets I made in a small folder with swaged holes. All the rose jointed steering/tie rods made up easy enough. One of the next jobs is anti roll bars and probably will be the bladed type when i get round to it, Im trying to locate them but only found dewitts cozzie/escorts up to now.
@ A1QSHIP you have a very keen eye, well spotted yes they are 2bennet mounts I had to alter the turrets/towers to fit them and I hope it all works, they have loads of castor/camber adjustment so fingers crossed.
@ campbellws The IM design was just a made up aluminium guess of audi S1E2 dual plenum, I think prospeeds is an actual carbon mould of one.
@ error404 this is where your aby steering rack ended up, so thank you!

I think we spoke on the phone about the blade roll bars. Call me again if you want the details. I also fancy the sub frames are going to move about a little when you really get on it. Jay @ DMD could make some conical ones up which will help
