A few of the front wings

I had them chemically dipped to get rid of the factory sealer and all the rust for a solid base

It relieved both wings had had repairs in the past, they looked a quality repair and they were lead loaded but they weren't sealed properly so the new metal was rusting under the paint which was a shame

So the plan for the car is as follows

s2 suspension set up with kw v3

porsche front brakes under the original wheels

        im looking for 500bhp

all of which i want with out spoiling the look of the car,
id like the engine bay to look stock but still run vems (so have a dummy dizzy etc)

Iv got this intercooler which will be fitted in the original location

        [IMG][/IMG]

        [IMG][/IMG]

ill need to move the alternator to the passengers side to fit it, not sure if its big enough but its a start

maybe using water meth may help

        Id like to run a,

ported wagner ra2 evo exhaust manifold

        garrett hta 3076

        referred waste gate

        asnu 700cc injectors

but i havent bought them yet

Pic of my front brake setup

        [IMG][/IMG]

If anybody can help me with the brakets for these onto s2 hubs id be very gratefull, as bambridge have stopped supplying !!

For the intercooler I would go with 944 Turbo unit.. much bigger than what you are proposing and fits in the location BTDT few times.

What does the porsche 944 turbo intercooler measure? Because the one iv got is quite big, prob twice the size of the original

Also what bhp have people run with the 944 intercooler

              Thanks rob

I do not have measurments on hand but here is a picture comparing an RR intercooler with a 944 T.

In 944 T application they have been good for over 500hp.

I have one on my 3B ur-q and it was a big improvement over the stock RR intercooler that used to heat soak after few runs.

With so big plans, you should consider doing coilpack conversion with electronic ignition, and give up that distributur, especially when you're doing VEMS. With distributur you have about 400hp limit max, over that is way to dangerous, timing play is too big.

With 500hp you should also think swapping oem connecting rods to high performance ones. We've seen those curved rods ewen with less hp. Also you will probably need 3" exchaust.

yeah im going coil packs but still have the distributor as a dummy so it looks stock.

Once the car has been resprayed and the suspension and brakes sorted im going to build another engine i have to take the power im after and more

As for the exhaust ill be going as big as poss maybe 3 1/2 "

Iv sorted the carriers out for the porsche brakes which need to be custom because im using full s2 running gear.

These allow the use of audi a6 288mm disc on a s2 hub so that i can run the original wheels.

Reyman the guy who used to do all the cossie builds, did the carriers for me. he also took some measurements to make me some floating discs
