What are you doing? Installing non-stock coil packs of some variety?

What do you think the problem *IS*?

Just push the wire seals home into the connector housing, and push the boot back on

Sorry, the posts on the cpnnector are wired backwards, or incorrectly , this part can only snap onto the other connector one way, so I need to know how to set it right, its a loom made by norbitron for tfsi upgrade on 2.2 litre Aan urs6. I was hoping to get his attention, as I cannot figure out how to attach photos in PM. cheers

It misfires in cyl 4, and EVERYTHING has been tested, trust me its backwards,

Should of bought Errors loom it works a treat

If it is backwards you'll need a pin removal tool to get them out and swap them round.

As Andy says, You need to remove the pins and swap it over - no biggie.
A de-pinning tool will help make is easy, but you can do it with a paper-clip if you are in a rush.
This is the correct type of tool. Little tip, it helps if you push the terminal firmly into the connector as you insert the tool, to depress the barbs on the terminal properly.



On that connector Pin2 is ECU earth, Pin 3 is Coil 5 trigger, Pin 4 is Coil 4 trigger.
