it's been a while...

the fenders are from komposit material.

komposit ,that makes it even more nicer.

do you make a heatshield for the airfilter ?
to prevent that it seeks to much heat from the manifold.?

yes, a heatshield will be installed and i might install a cooling fan that sucks in cold air from below

Made some minor progress, the valves and spings are in, started to make a supporter for the turbo.

Top is now mounted. I was suppose to put in the camshafts but it seams that i have lost the locking tool.


The 3,5" down pipe is finished and wrapped, and the turbo supporter is nearly ready.


Now i am off to the garage to find the locking tool.

cam shafts are mounted. the turbine housing is sent on coating.

Turbine housing is back from coating nice jobb, turbo is mounted.

The SGR team (Gordon and Wigge) did some tig welding..
so now are the pressure pipes ready, next step will be the cooling system.

Gordon replaced the trigger wheal. the old one got a tooth damaged, so just to be sure we replaced it

Today it rained all day so i went to the garage and rebuilded the down pipe. I just added a flex pipe and then mounted it back.

Yesterday I went to the garage, I don’t have so much time to be there those last weeks.
I had a long choke time before I managed to do something at all.
I mounted the timing belt, and started to build some of the water pipes and then I was out off time.

I Also helped Anton out a bit, hopefully he will start a project thread on he’s S2 it’s going to be real raw. We started to design he’s intake on my car because the engine is out in he’s car already.

Small spec on Anton’s new engine:
Forged pistons, aggressive clutch, big turbo, ported top, H profile rods. Etc

some updates from today.

Oil radiator test mounted, new mountings for the radiator was made. Also mounted some houses, need to buy some clamps and some new vacuum houses on Monday.
