E85 - 530 WHP ? optimistic ?

yesterday we putted her on to the rototest. We calibrated it on my friends company BSR AB in växjö, sweden. I want to thank Stefan, Nicklas And Patrik aka Hexon who helped me out calibrating and the Rest of the people at BSR.

Since I know nearly all of the people on BSR ( I am more or less hang around there) I had a bit luck getting my car in on the rototest. BSR normally don't make any custom maps like this, They develop new program updates most cars.

Any way we did adjusting and I am really satisfied with the result I got 150 more hp in the engine and a more stabile boost
and the result 437whp 454Nm on the wheels @ 1,5bar of boost.
It was really hot outside yesterday so we had it really hot in the cell but any way good figures,
We have probably reached the max of what the GTBB30r can produce.

I can just say the machine sounds great when we rev it up to 8000rpm

btw: I actually was very near to Mantorp last week, on sunday the 2nd I was drinking some coffee and feeding the A6 with some diesel in Perstorp.

Hey nice power graph zlobo... can you say what camshafts and timing you have in play there... Even with big turbos it is normal to see power dropping off around 6000 but yours pulls great to beyond 7000.

Or am I missing some other trick you have ?

Very nice car BTW - you have a very special machine there with that ABT wideboy kit - I'm sure you could make some money if those panels could be copied. I gather ABT destroyed the moulds a long time ago so its not like they would have any complaint with you - they can't sell them anymore so its not like you'd be taking money away from them. Anyway.... great result and nice engine noise !

thr fastest one did 9,883/230,49 my frends s2 from perstorp did 10,369/231,62.

Yes it's realy nice to to drive we kept the tork (Nm) down a bit to get a better caracter of the driving,, and i have a wide driveble band from 4000-8000rpm.

you shuld hear the sound in realyty when i was making the movie i felt the sound in my chest while standing in the rear of the car, and when i was in the front and we did a long sweap i felt like i have to move from the car.

Tnx, I am using stock 7a cams and i have about 20 degrees at fullbost.
Tere is no trick here only the great gtbb turbo and the 7a cam that produces more at the top and the E85 is having a part of it probably.

I have thougth about producing panels but it wuld not be fair for the other ABT owners since those cars are a bit rear.

yes there is one event left here i think so i will test it out and also i will try the launch, but i better bring some joints with me. and also i will try it on a track day to se how it goes i just did a wheel aligment yesterday so now she rides good on the road.

OK, with a GT3076 it will be around that 430WHP which is still incredible fast. Good results mate!

OK zlobo, the 7A inlet explains it alright... just wondered if you had something more exotic than that.

As to those panels - I don't believe they will devalue any other ABT C5 machines - actually I think you will improve their value by them being recognised as original cars. Furthermore - it gives the original owners somewhere to go in the event of accident damage or whatever that requires a new wing. I'd have a set in a flash - for my 'R5' project - they would look great !

the latter one being Mikael Forsberg I presume? I actually met him on the sunday at that place where I was drinking coffee! I noticed the S2 at the coffee place and parked the A6 next to it. had a chat with him and a look at his S2.

if I would have been smart enough to check the events before I went, I would have been at Mantorp then... any events in Sweden planned for the next couple of weeks? I'll be driving there again in some 10 days from now on my way home.

same as before 1,5bar +-0,1 we looked in to the compressor map and the turbo delivers att the best there and the temp out of the turbo is ok there.

Yes it's Forsberg he is always drinking coffee at that place, Forsberg and i are planing to go to västervik to drive 402m i think its on 12 Sep. and i am looking to se if there is any track day events here near by to test out the abt .

opend up my old gear box it was realy noisy befor mantorp.

nearly all the bearings are damaged and you can see it on the pics..
