    Resurrecting the s2!

    Well, here we are...
Last year the car "fried" the ecu which, at first, i thought was caused by a battery recharge whilst on the car....
Anyway, since then the car was stored away as there was no time to source what was exactly the problem and the parts needed.
The last 4 months it was parked outside due to lack of space and when i visited
the car after a couple of weeks......it was poured with water!
Obviously some seals had stopped doing their job, so the car was delivered straight
away to a professional paint job.
At the time, i didn't know that the s2 had its "sensitive" points...
As it turned out the ecu was "fried" due to water coming in from the pollen filter box
and going down the passenger's side...
You can add some door seals that need to be replaced and we ended up with the images below...

Eeeerrrr not so much really...:-S i already got rid of all the moisture and interior looks very nice once again :-) ofcourse, for piece of mind the whole interior was taken apart and put back together again ;-) will add some pics after the weekend. Anyway, that was the least of my problems.. Found out that the engine wiring loom was "dead" so i am after one now...:-(
