Hello,

The most of the people will know me from my 90 B2. That was finally finished after 3 years of work..
A couple weeks ago it got totaled after a car crash what was not my fault... 3 years work gone.

But to get my minds a bit of thinking all tme about it i bought a new project.

2017-06-27 update 1: Kamei Design bumpers!
It was a special delivery edition from factory, i found this brochure & i really wanted to have the bumpers and found them on Ebay!





plans;

The plan is to use as much as possible OEM parts to modified it.

Engine:
-big service (all oils, filters, belts, brake parts)
-repaint engine parts (make it look new!)
-replace every part that is needed
...


Interior:
-fix left power window
-hang the doorpanels better on it
-replace gray floor mat to a black one (also the one in the thrunk)
-replace right doorpanel
-fix or replace drivingseat
-Audi S2 steeringwheel
...

Exterior:
-remove rear windshieldwiper
-S2/B4 rear lights
-Kamei Design bumpers
-SGI Sideskirts
-complete repray in deep black (Brilliant Black)
-Audi Bolero wheels
-4cm lowering
-Sportexhaust full stainless line
-Carbon B-style panel
...

I planned to get it to the paintshop at the end of september - beginning of october for the repray.

That's too bad about your car, sad to see it have a bad end. It was really sharp looking.

But, the new beginning you have with the Cq looks promising! I imagine, based on your B2, the new car will turn out awesome! The Kamei bumpers look impressive, don't see them often.

Any plans down the road to install a turbo?

The project looks sweet, post more as you go!
The kamei rear bumper is great, lucky find! Been trying to get one myself for 8 months on and off but with little success for reasonable price.

@PRY4SNO Thanks! It is not a Quattro, FWD. No, it will be my dailydriver & in Belgium it is not allowed to modified the engine

Very painful but why not just start the B2 again as a new project it looked stunning, did you skin the person who caused the crash and then dip them in salt

Wheels are away for a refurbisment, will be powdercoated in silver.

Bought a another steeringwheel!


Also ordered a set of sideskirts so the sides will match the front and rearbumper more



Finally on the road!



Next week i have a week off so we will work on the car

mounting the front & rearbumper
full big service (belts,waterpump, sparkplugs, sparkplugcables, oil, seals,..)
repaint valvecover, distributionbelt cover,..
mounting the new steeringwheel,
mounting new tyres on the refurbished Boleros
..

Liking most of your additions, but why not get the decent 3 spoke (non airbag) steering wheel for it? The one you have - although nicer than the original, is still not very nice... IMHO
