I think paint can make things look that clean. Are those parts painted? http://www.Eastwoodco.com has a lot of products for making things look nice and fresh.

Having said that, I'm thinking about getting a guy I know to make something special for my old chuckle bus.

To say that his work is 1st class is an understatement, he used to make exhaust manifolds for most of the F1 teams this is some of his work below

Surly your referring to the era of the old DFVs etc, mostly all exhaust development is carried out in house by the f1 teams themselves, A friend off my old uni course worked with the arrows f1 team on placement a few yrs ago as they developed the new horizontally exiting system seen on most f1 cars to date.

That system looks very nicely done, If he can knock up a system for 400quid I'm game. But it looks rather more expensive than that.

No, this was only fairly recently. He left his old employee about 4 years ago I think. He's done work for Mclaren, Williams and Renault to name just a few

I may go and see him next week as it happens, just to get an idea of how much it will cost to make an top exhaust manifold for the S2

It's a good thought, certainly. The thing is tho', I think Audspeed just bought that car mostly the way it was. Isn't that right, Audspeed? Or, Rubens was your name, right (Audispeed)? Wasn't yours the car that was on Ebay, all blinged out with the 20vt and paint already? You're taking an already-clean car and taking it to the next level, right? Or, maybe it isn't the same one that I recall from Ebay (I think it is tho'), but it was still somewhat turnkey when Rubens got it.

Of course, that alone doesn't detract from the quality of the products. You could go the other way and say that anyone buying such a clean car must really appreciate nice things, and would be more likely to make nice things too.

yes Sr.AUDItude. thats how I got it. the car is just BRAND NEW condition. I also want to talk you Mr. Marcus Phillips that did AWSOME job in this coupe. Took 1 1/2 to get a complete restauration. He replace every single bolt and nuts!!! but the engine is tottaly stock (220hp) with my turbo kit that I am finishing and DTA stand alone we are looking for 400Whp on stock engine.
