He said Carrillo rods somewhere in there

But still, I don't believe those numbers, and that Spec clutch won't hold even half of that...

Come on Audspeed, a good tuner doesn’t just go for maximum power. Reliability and longevity is also key to a well modified motor, 400+bhp is mad on any stock 1.8t variant full stop! yeah it might hold together but for how long?
I mean you want to sell products or eventually maybe entire tuned engine packages right? don’t say things like "it might break" that’s only gonna instill ideas of uncertainty in peoples minds when they think about products and services you might provide in the near future.
oh and the number of cylinders differing engines have doesn’t predefine the amount of power they can withstand, you know that right?

                my opinion too,

A good tuner is the one that receive our cars, give to us a smile ear to ear...and when the cars return is to add more POWER (and smiles) , not because something is broken...
In that way, the costumer will have respect and tell about u to his friends.

Hope u find the path audspeed

Okay, sounds good, what dyno was this measured on?

What boost were you running to have that much power?
More specifically, what boost at peak HP RPM?
What fuel mixture at peak HP RPM?
How much advance at peak HP RPM?
How much exhaust back pressure at peak HP RPM, pre and post turbine?
And what max EGTs, pre and post turbine?

If you can't give me an answer to each of these points, then it means you have just "tweaked" it to put the power down, without any idea of how long it was going to last. This is not tuning and it's definitely not what tuning is about.

DTA has no knock sensors, how can you know if the engine wasn't pinging? A stock A4 1.8T engine has 9.5:1 compression ratio and cast pistons, I just can't believe you made those numbers, even if we had to assume they were at the crank because some US dynos are ahem, slightly *off*....

Yes, They got on A4 415Whp at 6500rpm on 26Psi of boost using race fuel (105 oct). The DTA system works much better than stock Fuel Mang Unit (Motronic) with a better curve on HP. About Hp differences between US specs and Uk specs I cant tell you what is right and what is worng. We have tested in a dyno on Whell HP Measures. Also you can check another companies like www.atpturbo.com they have a A4 that was puling more than me on Gt3071R turbo and stock internals. For more details on DTA check at www.dtafast.com or www.tpgproducts.com. This is just a HP desire and a tought what the stock engine can handle. After all we can figure out what is the best boost pressure and Hp for the engine. I dont want to say what is the best thing and tuning on Audi engine manag. But I am really happy with DTA and belive that is one of the best products in the market today. We have another client that just got 867whp on Skyline RB26TT engine full built motor at 28Psi of boost on T88 Greddy turbo. We will keep posted our tests in the future
                      Best Regards,
