Could not have done it without you. And of course to this great community, before the forum I thought I was the only one who appreciated the magic of the S2, so glad I am not alone in this.
I am almost finished with my project, just need to change bushings all round, Torsen rear diff and the RS2 instrument cluster and I wanted to share some pics.
I tried to make what Audi should have done, and RS2 Coupe, except for the rear bumper that I am not keen on the RS2 styling, for the Coupe is better looking standard IMHO.
Well let me sum up.
Engine: ABY based with all RS2 stuff
- Mihnea RS2 standard chip (a little too much for the exhaust. 2.1 Bar max)
- RS2 Turbo,
- RS2 Cams
- RS2 IC + Xmember
- RS2 IM
- RS2 EM
- RS2 Inyectors + fuel preassure regulator
- ABY fuel pump
- RS2 airbox
- ABY MAF
- Samcos
Exhaust:
Full turbo back 70mm exhaust single CAT and 2 silencer boxes
Chasis and Brakes
- RS2 front brakes (modified kit). 322x32 disks and big reds
- RS2 rear brakes with cross drilled rotors and Porsche parking brake system
- Standard shocks
- Bilstein B6 all round
- Whiteline rear ARB
- RS2 FARB (waiting for delivery)
- V8 torsen rear diff working on spare diff housings soon to install
Exterior:
- RS2 front bumper
- RS2 grill (do not know how to install check here: http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthr...6654#post96654)
- RS2 rear view mirrors
- RS2 alloys with 225/45/17 Potenza RE050
- Full side and back bumper painted
- New Ellipsoidal headlamps waiting for extreme HID kit from VAG parts
- Aero Wipers
Interior
- Recaro Sport without beltguide in black leather
- RS2 3 spoke steering wheel with airbag
- RS2 instrument cluster (waiting for instalation)
- Standard wood trim and preparing carbon trim to choose
