By header I mean exhaust manifold. Just curious if its SS or mild steel or other.

@all...today fited & mounted the sport quattro air box, movin cables because of the air box ...

Next week the pipes for the "turbo-breathing" and intercooler...and when everything's goin good the car will be finish end of next week

That oil pan extension is for models with a/c

S2... with a/c?
My motor AAN is out of an S2 and it had a/c but no expansion tank. Just curious to know.

AAN has the AC compressor on the LH side of the engine. 3B and ABY has it on the RH side and the location blocks the oil return line to the block connection. The expansion part of the oil pan has the turbo oil retun line connection point.

Don't suppose you've ever taken 5 minutes time out and totted up how much money has gone into the car or is that too scary a thought??

2day intercooler finished (just polishing the pipes left, later), some more pipes for MAP Sensor...Sport Quattro air box mounted...starting to connect the new DVD Changer from Pioneer and a 2nd Pioneer 8" TFT for back...
