Seems so. My rs2 has aby timing belt and water pump. Unfortunately it was just done that way before I got it, so I dont have the old rs2 pump.

I have replaced my pump now, and the one I linked to earlier fits like a charm. 29 teeth on the sprocket, just like the original RS2 pump.

The RS2 pump sprocket has 26 teeth.

The RS2 workshop manual is a supplement/update to the 3B workshop manual , and sometimes it actually references 3B as they are very similar.

That Metelli pump it's very tempting.
Here in Italy where it's made it costs the terrific sum of 80 euros including VAT.... Versus 300 plus for the original Audi one!

I'll go for a sprocket change for sure, done it before and will do it again!

I have a Metelli pump here with a 26 tooth pulley I am going to use in place of the RS2 pump, with an RS2 belt. It has an 074 P/n IIRC, I will have a look in a bit
