I saw an R8 in the flesh on the street yesterday

I was in the back of an Addi Lee taxi driving through Berkeley Square, absent-mindedly cooing over all the usual collection of Lambos, Porsches and nutty V12 Kompressor Mercs when I spotted a crowd of people all standing, staring, at a very sleek-looking Silver 2-door mid-engined car.

Drove past: ordered driver to "SLOW DOWN MATE I NEED A LOOK AT THAT"

Good God it is gorgeous in real life. Smaller than I had expected, lower than you'd imagine, but just perfect. From the front it looks especially amazing. I'm only sorry I couldn't get any pictures to post.

There was one at GTI International that i got a good look at.

I was also at the audi show room in leeds the other day and there was a gorgeous looking black one cornered off.

Think it had £89,995 in the window.
