I used acid etch primer and would you believe it, Hammerite Smooth gloss black spray.
Bit risky temperaturewise using the Hamerite I know, but I only use the car for road use so will wait and see.
Got the decals from ebay and dusted over with a couple of coats of clear laquer.
I have a PDF of the caliper drawings that Alcon sent me if you are interested ?

Well the Hammerite looks pretty bloody good, hope it takes the heat, most likely be OK on a road car and not very expensive.
