        i thought the new 2.5L motor had 20v's? or is this a different motor i'm thinking of? custom mounts? where is your build thread so i can stop asking stupid questions? lol

          its not the new engine (tho that would be cool one day)

          It's acctually a stroked 10valve KV engine, with chrome molly crank, forged pistons, con rods etc. and a big valved gas flowed head..

          simples.

            Hi,

            do you have a dyno of the 190hp?Is this still on Kjet?
            What sort of driving performance has this setup?

              A standard GTi engineering 2.5 produced 170bhp and 180lb/ft. But they retained the standard cam. Changing to a Shrick 272 can get you to 190bhp though torque pushed up the rev range a bit it works better than on the 2.2. Great conversion and wished I'd had the funds to get one in my old GT back in 1985
              1986 Coupe q - 2281cc 3B, chargecooler, 2.75" exh & downpipe, ported head, water injection, CGR box, modified MD357 turbo, 440cc injectors, high power coil.
              2004 A4 2.5TDi convertible, re-mapped to 180bhp
              2011 A5 sportback 3TDi-Backbox delete, remap
