        I didn't think it mattered(with the elipsoidal) if they were off a LHD or RHD car as you can adjust them to work for whichever side you drive on.

        Obviously it matters if tit is the right hans side or left hand side unit you buy :wacked:

        On the original Audi receipt for my last car, a 1993, they were an optional extra and called Euro lights - the car was exported so needed them - must have been just before they became sandard (I'm sure Marks 1993 ABY doesn't have elipsods)

          I will find the link once im back home but there is a place that does mail order in st albans. think an elipsoid lamp is about 165 for RHD. dont quote me on that though.

            It does matter.

            rhd lights have different part numbers from lhd cars. reason being that beam cutoff is on the other side.

            Even if you switch them over, you are still losing the cutoff area on the original beam.

            For use in Canada, a lhd lamp is required
