Note, that for example in my 3b - sensor itself is OK. Loom somewhere is rotten and sometimes (once a month) ECU gives me error. I suggest you check it before replacing. If it's not 3b - this is not the case.

I had a fault with my G42 earlier this year. It turned out to be a break in the loom.

no i think this is more likely to be the fact that it was dragging on the floor then someone stood on it before i put the engine in, all wiring was checked/repaired before it was installed
