my cousins has just gone bang is there another similar engine i
can use from and audi

The 130 engines are the same. I have built many, i am sure of this. The turbo and intercooler, headstuds and mapping are the diference from 130-150.. the bare engine is the same. So any 130, from say a a4 will do.

have you got an engine code i can go by

look out for the oilfilterhousing(!!!!!) dont fit all types of engines
