  • ABY Oil Cooler

I need one of these if anyone has one knocking about. Needs to be the one like in the pic (not with the connections at the same end)

edit: can someone also tell me the size of the connections. Is it 1/2" BSP?

Went through this last year, in the end got one from martyn.
Second hand ones may well all be fecked too cos of the way the crud collects in the ducting. My opinion, get new and ditch the rusty surround.

I did the same AND had to but the oil lines as they were corroded beyond realistic reuse. Get ready for a shock

Mine is perfect. I've already had it in bits to check, the only fault is a small stone/pin prick is letting oil seep through one of the rows.

I'll have the ABY lines when I swap my cooler to a MOCAL. If that's any good?

Nah, I have the ABY ones but they are to rigid and won't adapt, the 3B ones will just about work. Otherwise if I know the end types , I will have some made.

                    No-one know the fitment then?

I'm assuming they are 1/2" BSP with 2 female ends.

                      Mark,

I doubt very much that they are a BSP fitting. The other unions from the oil filter housing use M18 sealing washers. I would guess they are M18X1.5.
Seems car manufactures (German at least!) use odd fittings. I know the Ur uses Parker Hannifin stuff.
The ends of the fittings are concave/convex.
